Alabama Damascus Blade / ADS0078-DKG

This knife blank has very comfortable handle size and design. The one thing I would change is to move the pin holes further to center of handle.

great looking knife,it did have a pretty long scratch on the tang but it will be covered by the scales. Will buy from them again.

Good quality American made damascus blade good grind and finish.

I selected this blade because of the size and general blade shape which will make an excellent all around hunting knife. Blank is dead flat, grlind is well done and the etch and overall craftsmanship is excellent. A very affordable but well made Damascus blade that has taken and held a very good edge. Only criticism is the eight pin holes plus lanyard hole in the blank-requires a lot of effort to get everything lined up when attaching the handle when four pin holes down the center of the blank would have been sufficient. Overall, though, a very well made product that is USA made.

It ‘s says in the product description “ This blade just needs a final edge and some handles.” . I have ordered these blades twice and found heavy grinding marks in the hollow grind that have to be sanded down and then need re-etching. I had expected a better finish. But with that I probably will continue to buy from Alabama Damascus Steel, as the steel is very good quality.

I built several knives using your Damascus blades. Always get compliments, and the knives stay sharp. Made one for hunting buddy, he requested I build 2 for his sons. ADS0078-DKG is a great size and shape!
