Material = (4) layers 5160, (3) layers 203E, (3) layers 52100, (3) layers 15N20 folded 5 times for 416 layer damascus
Blade = 1-3/16" x 5" Long Grind
Overall Length = 10-1/8"
Full Tang
Blade has been Precision ground, Laser cut, Hollow ground, Heat-treated to 58-60 Rc, & Etched
This blade just needs a final edge and some handles.

I am just putting the finishing touches on this blade. its my 6th AD project and this one has turned out the best. As with all AD blades the steel is excellent. This profile in particular looks great and feels great in the hand. Well balanced and sturdy. Happy with this product and happy with AD.

Being given to an American Warrior

I purchased this blade blank for the purpose of making a knife for a close friend that recently came back from a deployment with a SF unit. The blank came in exactly as spec'd on the website, shipping was relatively fast, and it looks great. Handles, mosaic pins, and a final edge are all that are missing. The contrasts in the layers are actually a little more defined in person than in the picture, which makes for a beautiful piece of steel. Hopefully I can do my part in making something worthy for this man to carry. The handles for this knife will be ebony at the bolster, Brazilian cherry for the field and rock maple stringing to form a trident, with mosaic pins.
