I have made a dozen or more knives using the redneck skin billets. Always pleased with the quality of the bullets and the price is very reasonable. Easy to heat treat and etch and looks fantastic.

I have made several knives using steel from Alabama Damascus. The redneck skin pattern is spectacular and attracts attention. I found it easy to work with and simple to heat treat. I like that is comes already surface ground and is flat, which makes it easier to produce a uniform grind. The cost is entirely reasonable because I can get 3 or 4 blades out of the billet.
