I make a lot of Damascus steel knives and sell them quite regularly. I no longer am able to forge weld them myself due to my age and physical abilities. I went through the gamut of buying Damascus on the Internet and found Damascus steel at Alabama Damascus and they hit a home run! They have so every time I have purchased it, generally speaking, they use a three component mixture of steals that ends with 416 layers of finely welded Damascus! I purchase a piece large enough to get about four knives out of it and M able to turn a good profit. I recommend them to anyone!!
