1. Was making a knife turned into a fork

   I was asked to write a review about this piece. The problem is I did not buy this one I got a random pattern with a thickness of .135. That being said, the piece I received is very good in all aspects but one small section. I started to shape the metal to make a Skinner but as I was shaping the blade it started to show delamination in what was going to be the tip of the blade. As started cutting it out and the delamination went back 1-1/2" to 1-3/4". Needless to say I could not make a knife. I am in no way angry about that and it will in no way prevent me from purchasing more billets. Stuff happens and sometimes for a reason. The next problem I have is now several people want me to make them a set of Damascus forks.

   I’ve used your Damascus for a few years now. I honestly can’t remember a piece that had any sort of issue. It’s always very consistent and produces a nice edge on a beautiful knife every time. Thank you for your attention to detail. It shows in your product, as well as mine.
